Hello!!! i want to ask you a favor. Can you write in :iconanti-patriota: wall: Happy Bitrhday!!! i really appreciate it if you do that :D it only going to take you a few minutes, and your going to make someone really happy. Heres a llama for taking the time.
Hi, I'm sorry , I just got your message, I haven't been checking my messages regularly lately. I posted a belated happy birthday wish. I hope it was a good one.
And thank you for the llama, I love llamas.
Llamas are great!!! :D
hey thank you so much :+favlove:!
oh, hey lee! i knew your name seemed familiar... i hardly ever remember last names. so i went to your myspace link, and there you were! what are you doing out in CA?
Looking for work doing comics! lol And i haven't had much luck, all I've done so far has been unpaid stuff with people from different online sites.
If you have any advice for finding work please feel free to give me your opinion, it would be very welcome.
And how do you like New York? It's my favorite place i've ever lived, except that it's so damn cold in the winter!

Later,
Hey there, sorry it's taken me so long to reply! Hope your job search has been going well in the meantime. The best advice I can give based on my experience is to draw until your fingers bleed every day and take the best 5 or 6 pages out of those to as many conventions as you can and talk to editors at smaller independent publishers first. It's WAY easier to get in to the mainstream (I think your style could be a good fit at Vertigo) if you have independent work under your belt first, since Marvel/DC can't take chances on artists that they're not sure can meet deadlines on a pro-level. Luckily, it's pretty easy to get face-time with indie publishers. Submitting on-line is not a bad idea for these companies either. Good luck!

I'm loving New York. But I'd take the winters any day over the worst days of summer! Ugh!!!
